Martina.Shand BA MSc MCIPS ABCI AIEMA is experienced, competent and results-oriented with a unique blend of cross-functional skills.  She has a proven track record of managing and delivering projects to national and international customers across the private and public sector.

Before establishing Silverstream Projects,  Martina was permanently employed for 15 years as a professional by leading international blue chip companies:   LogicaCMG, Fujitsu Services, Orange and GlaxoSmithkline. 

Martina’s experience in the IT and telecoms sector spans 12 years during which time she has worked in a number of roles specialising in bid management and supply chain management.   She has project managed and supported numerous often complex and high value bespoke and product-based technology contracts, many with a multi-national scope, ranging in value from £50k to £10 million (on average £2 million) and with project teams ranging in size from 5 to 50 members (including the customer representatives) across up to 15 countries.  

Her customers have included many blue chip companies and public sector organisations:  Cargill, The Public Record Office (PRO), Ford, Tyco, Sigma Kalon, Towers Perrin, Quintiles, The Department of the Environment, Transport & the Regions (DETR) and Mars - to name just a few.

Martina also has a keen interest in how businesses can improve their reputation and competitive advantage by improving their environmental performance.

• BS 25999  (the British standard for business continuity management) - trained as a lead auditor by the British Standards Institute (BSI)
• ISO 9001 (the international standard for quality management) - trained as a lead auditor by the British Standards Institute
• ISO 27001 (the international information security standard) - professional training in the principles and implementation of the standard
